We're Expecting

Here I am at 15 weeks! We waited until all tests were clear to put the word out. The baby is perfectly healthy & it's a girl!! Baylor is so excited. We don't know what we're doing. It's been 7 years!

Baylor's Surgery December 2008

Baylor had surgery on his arm on December 19, 2008. The surgery is to lengthen the bone in his arm. Dr. Gugenheim cut his bone and put in lots of pins. He has these 2 steel rings on the outside of his arm, and we have to turn the screws three times a day to slowly pull the bone apart. It looks very interesting. Baylor loosens all the bolts and turns the screws himself. He has to wear the arm contraption for 3 months. We spent 4 days in the hospital to manage pain, but Baylor's a trooper. He had the pain medicine machine where he could pump the medicine himself.

Thanksgiving 2008

We went to dad's deer lease for Thanksgiving this year with Justin, Theresa, Wesley, Sara, dad and all the kids. Baylor had a blast. He had never been. He decided we see more deer at our house, though! Nasa has tons of deer so we see 15-20 every day on our way home.
