A "Corn" Person
So we are sitting here eating dinner. Adam is putting the dishes away, and I tell Baylor to finish his corn. He looks at me thoughtful and wipes both sides of his mouth with his napkin then says "you know, I'm not much of a (he does air finger quotes here)"corn person". I cracked up, and then told him to finish his corn!

Sneaky Pictures!!
You know people say beware of profile pictures, etc, because pictures can fool you??? Well, here are some tricky pictures. They look so sweet. Brother & sister playing together, smiling for the camera....
So you ask, what was really happening? Adeline continuously knocks Baylor's castles down and crawls all on top of him. And Baylor is saying "Stoooop iiiittttt, Adelinuuuu!", "Mommy can you get here awaaaaay". The stretched out words are to emphasize the whining voice.
I move her and try to give Baylor some of the peaceful playing time that he has had for 8 years, but I secretly love it! ;)

Lost Ring!
I've lost my wedding ring. I know... not too shocking for those that know me well. I really loved that ring, though, and I've only had it for about a year. Adam got it for me for our 10th anniversary. Luckily, because my husband is the great Farm Bureau Insurance Agent that he is, it was insured, but he won't buy me another one! I agree because I'm still holding out hope it turns up somewhere in our house. For the time being, I'll be sporting a brand new cubic zirconia!
Easter 2010
Adeline's first Easter! We spent the day at Meme's with family & visited Adam's mom. Lots of candy and fun!
Bone Marrow Result Update
The results came in from Baylor's bone marrow biopsy in early March. Everything looked the same. No signs of scary stuff like leukemia & his few little bone marrow cells seem to be holding steady. Things looked okay for now & they will continue to watch his blood & schedule another bone marrow biopsy in 6 months, which is our regular routine.

Easter Bunny 2010
Luckily someone told me that our mall bunny has this fast pass thing online. If you go order your pics online & pay, you print out this fast pass and just skip the line when you show up. Well.... we went at 2:00 on Good Friday and the line was a mile long! Evidently, not many people know about this "fast pass" and we pissed a lot of people off just walking up and getting our picture done, but it was legitimate! haha
Baylor Can Ride!
Baylor can ride his bike! Big deal, you say? Well, we have practiced for over 4 years! He never could reach the ground before, so now he's tall enough. Now that he's riding, he loves it! We promised him a new bike when he learned to ride since this one is about 5 years old!

Home for Spring Break
I love being home for many days in a row like this. I can't really watch and enjoy the kiddos. I've noticed that Adeline can now play with all her toys. Before we had to shake them or push them so they would light up or make noise, but now she can do it herself! Such a tiny milestone, but things like that I don't notice when we are just home in the evenings rushing around dinner, baths, and bedtime.
I've painted a room, A and I replaced a section of our fence, & plan to finally finish trim in our bathroom since I tiled the floor about 8 months ago!!
We put our house for sale today & have been looking at bigger houses the past couple of weeks. No hurry or pressure, but we just figured if it sells, we will move forward. If not, that's okay too.

Grilling Out
Adam is grilling tonight, which really means he buys all the stuff and asks me what to put on the steaks. Then I tell him to light the grill, when to put the food on, when to flip the food, when to take the food off. Ok scratch that, I guess I'm grilling tonight! But it's fun, anyway! And he says tonight he outdid himself on the steak!! haha

Baylor's 2nd Grade Musical
Baylor practiced every day at home for 2 weeks! You can still see him being shy, but it's getting better!
Baylor & Adeline
This one is for Mom because they mistreat my kids---cut them and stuff!!haha just kidding!
Another Bone Marrow Biopsy
Baylor had another bone marrow biopsy on March 3rd. His blood counts had been dropping over the past month & we scheduled the bone marrow a month early to stay on top of things. We don't know the results yet, but they did another blood test that morning and his numbers had shot way up. Really, it was kinda shocking. She joked that maybe they got someone else's blood! haha. Keep the prayers coming.
We are all lined up & things are in order for a bone marrow transplant if that time comes. Baylor had over 100 matches for him around the country. Please consider becoming a bone marrow doner to save a life! Visit Be The Match & register!

Relaxing Weekend with Farm Bureau
This weekend Farm Bureau sent us to Dallas for a resort weekend. Adam won the trip because he was a Mater Agent for the year. Every February, they send all the Master Agents and spouses to a different resort. It was 3 days of massage, spa stuff, golf for Adam, shopping, nice dinners, just all around spoiling. So needed. Thank goodness for Gran who is keeping the kiddos! I got lots of sleep, and Adam and I love the time to ourselves! I do love all of these company trips. We are so blessed!

Tuesday's Drive Home from School
I may have said this before, but Baylor knows when he is telling me a story about other people or repeating what others say, he can say the bad word. So once he learned that, he does his best to remember all such stories so he can repeat them to me!
Me: How was school?
B: Daddy was freakin out this morning because you almost left with the car seat.
Me: Yeah I know. How was school?
B (in a very grown up tone): He said "oh shit, the damn car seat".
Me (laughing):Baylor, you can't say that.
B: What? That's what he said, the damn car seat (talking just like Adam)!
Me: sigh.......
