Baylor can ride his bike! Big deal, you say? Well, we have practiced for over 4 years! He never could reach the ground before, so now he's tall enough. Now that he's riding, he loves it! We promised him a new bike when he learned to ride since this one is about 5 years old!

Home for Spring Break
I love being home for many days in a row like this. I can't really watch and enjoy the kiddos. I've noticed that Adeline can now play with all her toys. Before we had to shake them or push them so they would light up or make noise, but now she can do it herself! Such a tiny milestone, but things like that I don't notice when we are just home in the evenings rushing around dinner, baths, and bedtime.
I've painted a room, A and I replaced a section of our fence, & plan to finally finish trim in our bathroom since I tiled the floor about 8 months ago!!
We put our house for sale today & have been looking at bigger houses the past couple of weeks. No hurry or pressure, but we just figured if it sells, we will move forward. If not, that's okay too.

Grilling Out
Adam is grilling tonight, which really means he buys all the stuff and asks me what to put on the steaks. Then I tell him to light the grill, when to put the food on, when to flip the food, when to take the food off. Ok scratch that, I guess I'm grilling tonight! But it's fun, anyway! And he says tonight he outdid himself on the steak!! haha

Baylor's 2nd Grade Musical
Baylor practiced every day at home for 2 weeks! You can still see him being shy, but it's getting better!
Baylor & Adeline
This one is for Mom because they mistreat my kids---cut them and stuff!!haha just kidding!
Another Bone Marrow Biopsy
Baylor had another bone marrow biopsy on March 3rd. His blood counts had been dropping over the past month & we scheduled the bone marrow a month early to stay on top of things. We don't know the results yet, but they did another blood test that morning and his numbers had shot way up. Really, it was kinda shocking. She joked that maybe they got someone else's blood! haha. Keep the prayers coming.
We are all lined up & things are in order for a bone marrow transplant if that time comes. Baylor had over 100 matches for him around the country. Please consider becoming a bone marrow doner to save a life! Visit Be The Match & register!

Relaxing Weekend with Farm Bureau
This weekend Farm Bureau sent us to Dallas for a resort weekend. Adam won the trip because he was a Mater Agent for the year. Every February, they send all the Master Agents and spouses to a different resort. It was 3 days of massage, spa stuff, golf for Adam, shopping, nice dinners, just all around spoiling. So needed. Thank goodness for Gran who is keeping the kiddos! I got lots of sleep, and Adam and I love the time to ourselves! I do love all of these company trips. We are so blessed!

Tuesday's Drive Home from School
I may have said this before, but Baylor knows when he is telling me a story about other people or repeating what others say, he can say the bad word. So once he learned that, he does his best to remember all such stories so he can repeat them to me!
Me: How was school?
B: Daddy was freakin out this morning because you almost left with the car seat.
Me: Yeah I know. How was school?
B (in a very grown up tone): He said "oh shit, the damn car seat".
Me (laughing):Baylor, you can't say that.
B: What? That's what he said, the damn car seat (talking just like Adam)!
Me: sigh.......

Wrestling
Baylor wants to wrestle every afternoon, so Adeline got in on the action & thought it was very funny!
More Blood Work
We had more blood work done on Baylor and talked to the dr today. His blood counts had come up a little so that was good, but we will still check his bone marrow again the first week in March.

Baylor's Dr Visit
We saw the hematologist for 3 month check up today & Baylor's blood counts have dropped some. She wants us to come in 2 weeks & check again just to make sure it wasn't due to cold or infection or anything. It sucked. I don't know how we feel when we leave with news like that. I know it hurts Adam. I have mixed feelings. Mad, helpless, ??? I feel like we're just in a waiting game to bone marrow transplant. Thank God we have great doctors & scientists that can do amazing things like transplants. Keep praying!

Christmas 2009
We have so many Christmases! We had Christmas with Adam's Mom & Rick, then Christmas with Adam's dad & Perky, then Christmas eve and my Meme's, Christmas Morning with my dad and Christmas afternoon in Lake Charles with the Janese's. Whew...so much fun! The kids, of course, have a great time.

Ouch!
Baylor's been getting his growth hormnone shots for about 2 weeks now. He stills cries about them, but its all in his head. Adam and I both gave ourselves one and couldn't feel a thing. Adam says we could sell the medicine (HGH) to some baseball players and make some $$! haha
We have to alternate the shot locations so it goes left arm, right arm, left leg, right, left butt cheek, right & then stomach. The other day on the way home he was wondering where his shot was going to be that night and he says, " Mommy, are we finished with both of my butts?" I cracked up.

Baylor is 8!
Wow! We can't believe it. It sometimes seems we're stuck in a time warp because other people's children grow & look huge, but not Baylor. He certainly doesn't look 8, but it's true. I can't believe it's been so long. We are so lucky to have him. He has this energy that draws people in & we have no idea why because he doesn't even talk to people! haha Eight great years, and now he's such a good big brother.
We celebrated at Joe's because all Baylor wants to eat is crab. So he had a huge pot of crab & a gigantic piece of chocolate cake!
